First I wanted to address something said by Paul of NJ that needs correction:
he twice referred to Jesus as “God in the flesh”…. Jesus is
not ‘God in the flesh’ and the Bible never states he is that.
Jesus is referred to many times in the Bible as “the son of God” , never “God the son”… Jesus himself never
claimed he was God. The idea that Jesus is God came
from gnostic pagans from the 2nd through the 5th centuries AD.
Jesus is God’s perfect representative but still human.
