Tonight, Nov. 28, 2023, I try to take a break from my usual rage at our civilization’s destroyers, to talk about something hopeful for every YOUNG member and inheritor of our besieged civilization. And that something is even more valuable than all of the neat, nostalgic things you find Kelso remembering about how it WAS. All of you young people are looking right into the eyes of this even more valuable thing every time you look into a mirror. Kelso is urging you not to become demoralized or bitter about the many, many things that are now lost, or the many more that we are probably about to lose, and instead realize as you look into those eyes in the mirror that you are looking into thousands of generations of ancestors who looked just like you, and are literally looking back at you…..and whose priceless treasure is your inheritance. Which you alone now OWN! Even better than any of the neat memories we oldsters have from the 1950’s and 1960’s.
