I was struck today, May 19, 2023, by a fellow broadcaster who remarked as he played the cuts from the CNN Town Hall, that again and again, Trump’s words and sincerity were “so BASED”. And then, this patriot broadcaster, Jackson Hinkle, stopped me in my tracks with this conclusion: “Trump’s the ONLY one at the top who talks this way.” At this point HInkle was specifically referring to Trump’s intensity when he glared at the CNN witch-on-a-broomstick with the microphone, Kaitlyn Collins, and said to her snarky “do you support Ukraine?”: “I support that people need to stop dying in a needless war that never would have happened if the election hadn’t been stolen”. The Trump Phenomenon has correctly been calling Donald Trump the Peace Candidate and then President for eight years on the radio.
