I know you mean well and want someone to substitute that does a good job of representing you on this unique niche you’ve made for yourself, or carrying out the general mood and messaging of the show. However, Mr. Hijacker here is quite difficult to endure with his long, drawn-out, and tedious digressions!
The opening of the show was an immediate turnoff! Music is fine, but most people don’t want to hear a whole song as an introduction to a podcast! Also, while trying to explain the movie he was referencing, he was all over the place, and, I’ll bet, lost most of the audience trying to explain himself. He completely lacks any charisma or humor that puts listeners at ease and allows them to identify with the host.
Look, Hijacker has offered excellent insights in the past and has offered up some pretty incisive analysis at times when he’s called in, but the guy is not qualified to fill in for you. He’s quite self-absorbed and can be cringe and annoying periodically. How many times has he called in to tell you that you’re the “King of Sunday night” and that you should see your numbers and to “add that 3rd hour again Robert?” Almost every time he calls in, he brings that up! It has become complete overkill now! We’ve got it partner!
My intention is not to be mean-spirited and just to crap all over H; and maybe it’s hard for you to find someone to fill in on Sunday night- I don’t know! I just think you could find someone better or, H could either, do better job of tightening things up and communicating better, or do some better show prep and quit rambling on all-the-time!
