Hour 2 – continued with my guest, Lynn Ertell. We moved into 9/11 and then the Covid timeline that actually started before 9/11 with The Dark Winter exercise, held at Andrews AFB, Washington, DC, June 22-23, 2001, and portrayed a fictional scenario depicting a covert smallpox attack on US citizens. We moved onto what happened in Wuhan in October 2009 -The 7th Military World Games was the first international military multisport event to be held in China. The event was also the nation’s largest military sports event ever with 9,308 athletes from 109 countries competing in 329 events and 27 sporting disciplines. It was hypothesized that all the air travel from Wuhan back to their home countries caused the spread of Covid worldwide. However, this has been debunked upon thorough investigation. We took callers the last 30 min and had a lively discussion of the issues we are facing today.
