I am sort of a new listener to RBN. I have been on and off for the last year. Love the show. RE: Dave in Mass. and Tom in Florida: both callers just go on and on and on about 10 different topics. I think Dave is probably lonely and just wants to be cute – Tom sounds like he does speed or snorts coke and then calls in. Forgive me in advance for expressing this. Neither are concise or have a thought to comment on and then develop that into a convo. Tom goes from one thing and another and another. Wow. Very difficult to like him and it is just a joke. Dave is just plain obnoxious. His Inspeca, directa, and professa, jokes are just not funny, cute or pertinent. As you stated, we are looking at a possible nuclear war. I just turn the show off when I hear either of these men.
It’s not uncommon to get rough callers who are long time listeners or donors, probably really great people to be honest, just not the best for listening. Someone not affiliated with RBN has to call Tom and Dave and counsel them to say something profound in 10 seconds and hang up.
