Co-host: Paul Fromm | On DIec. 6, 2017 we replay a key passage of Steve Bannon’s speech supporting Judge Roy Moore in which he explains the winning power of the “economic nationalism” strategy of which Bannon is one of the authors. Why do I say the “winning power”/ Because that strategy just won the biggest, most surprising, most wonderful patriot political victory in American (world?) history. “Economic nationalism”, in which the voting public is appealed to on the sole basis that they are citizens of their country, and that it is “their interest” that should govern all political decisions….that strategy WINS with Europeans wherever we are still in control of our destiny through the political fight. That strategy is winning tonight, in America (Trump’s victory), in Poland (the victory of the Law and Justice Party), in Hungary (the victory of the Fidesz party and Viktor Orban). And that strategy is knocking on the door of success in other European nations. A Nobel laureate asked to define science once replied: “science is finding out what works”. I hope we patriots apply the same discipline of scientific thinking to our actions….like scientists dropping what proves repeatedly not to work, and adopting what the laboratory of real life PROVES to work. As Donald Trump has just done in creating the Trump Phenomenon.
