Watch for her on the national political scene. The first woman to fly combat in the Air Force. The first female squadron commander. Successfully sued in McSally v Rumsfeld to halt an order from the Air Force that Air Force women had to wear the “abaya” covering off base in Saudi Arabia. She had been threatened with court martial if she did not comply. She was 1st in her class of pilot trainees at the Air War College. She has voted with Trump 100% of the time. She flew over Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan. The Air Force Association in 2005 gave their award to the squadron she commanded, the 354th Fighter Squadron based it Davis-Monthan AFB Arizona, for “the best contribution to national defense.”
