Today, November 13, 2018, Jeff Bezos, richest man on Earth, son a Scandinavian father, Ted Jorgensen, who Bezos refuses to meet as an adult, announced his plan to build his new headquarters smack dab in the middle of Washington, D.C. 25,000 jobs and many billions of dollars, to be built right next to National Airport, near Arlington Cemetery, near the Pentagon. What’s it all about with this “Master of the Universe” as Breitbart so aptly names the rulers of social media and the web? One word. Power. Bezos will have 25,000 lobbyists swarming all over Washington, every day of the year. And what is the media Fake News capitol of the world? Why, it’s my birthplace, New York. And where is the other new headquarters location also announced today by Bezos? The long-ago great city of New York. Today, we also talk about Kelso’s central theme: “Demography is Destiny”.
