And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? … The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If … if … We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.

From the Mueller Investigation / #Russiagate nonsense, to the three high-profile ‘apparent’ suicides in one week, to the illogical, draconian Rockland County, NY crackdown, treating the unvaccinated children like lepers — irrespective of overall health. Everywhere you look, there are strange, contradictory stories with seemingly no ‘good’ or legitimate answers — which sounds an awful lot like ‘learned helplessness’ inducing Vladislav Surkov-styled avant garde theatre politics.

In the midst of all this chaos and nonsense we hear what’s become the usual ‘crisis management’ clamor of, “There’s no time to pause and reflect — we’ve got to [re]act now!” In reality, people should be stopping and asking — and demanding answers to — legitimate questions, as today’s discussion highlights. For instance, with regard to the Rockland County, NY announcement, why aren’t people stopping to ask:

  • Why the emphasis on quarantining the unvaccinated — irrespective of overall health — when those sick and contagious — including the recently vaccinated — pose the greatest potential risk? Isn’t that the opposite of what should be advocated?
  • What is the significant threat all ‘unvaccinated children’ pose specifically, and what is the evidence of that threat?
  • Why are unvaccinated children quarantined, while (all) the vaccinated, who often shed highly contagious live virus for weeks, are allowed to roam free?
  • Why are those with a ‘legitimate medical exemption’ exempted from the quarantine of the unvaccinated? What appreciable medical benefit does that offer the community?

Rash, hysterical decision making has never proven wise, and this is no exception. It’s becoming increasingly difficult, if not impossible to argue something else, possibly more sinister and nefarious is at work in the public square. And it’s high time we pause, reflect for a moment, and take honest stock in America, “that we may be neither led nor driven blindfolded to irretrievable destruction,” as John Adams wisely cautioned.
